A converter HPGL - DXF for both DOS and Windows
PLT2DXF converts HPGL plot files into DXF files. So every 2D CAD program becomes compatible to any other 2D CAD program (excepting the hopeless cases than can not generate plot files or read DXF files). Although PLT2DXF has been written especially for AutoCAD users, many other CAD programs can handle the DXF files generated by the program.
The users of DTP software and word processing programs like especially the ability of the program to give a new thickness to all lines.
- HPGL/2 files are not supported. If you set up your plotting program to generate files for the plotter "HP 7475A", all data should be converted correctly.
- The program works under Windows, too. Just drag a plot file to the PLT2DXF icon in the windows explorer and drop it there. A DOS window will open where you can select the pen width and the output file name.
- The file PLT2DXF127.EXE does not only contain the executable program files. All Turbo Pascal source codes and some useful utilities are included, too.
